Speak to your prenatal care provider in regard to having an elective ultrasound.

Performed by a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) Elective ultrasounds are non-diagnostic, not medically necessary, nor ordered by your physician. No doctor performs, reviews, reads/interprets any ultrasound provided by Baby Bump Imaging & more 3D/4D Studio. No report or diagnosis is made or given at any time during or after the elective session(s). Last, the sonographer is not a physician, can NOT provide any information or give any medical advice in any situation.

Ultrasound is not ionizing radiation, it is an imaging modality that uses high frequency soundwaves to produce images. Traditional 2D imaging has been used for many years. Over 30 years of extensive research and studies, ultrasounds have not been found or known to cause harmful effects to fetus/baby or mother. SAFETY is our priority. Some organizations state elective use of ultrasound is inappropriate.  We follow/adhere to FDA guidelines. Adding, being properly educated and trained in regard to physics of ultrasound, we efficiently adjust the machine settings for the safest output and scan using the concept of ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable). SPEAK WITH YOUR PRENATAL CARE PROVIDER TO DISCUSS ANY CONCERNS YOU MAY HAVE.

Recommendations are given! However, this is a personal preference and depends on what you want to see. 2D: can be done from early 1st trimester (6-7 weeks)-throughout pregnancy. 3D/4D: If you want to see "cute" whole baby images, earlier around 16-23 weeks, but is best at 28 to 32 or 33 wks. By this gestational age, baby has started to gain weight (fat tissue) and more details can be visualized (but depends on variable factors). Image quality/facial features can improve with advanced gestational age; however, too late can be limited due to position, size, amount of amniotic fluid around the baby, etc. HD(5D): recommended after 28 wks.

YES! OF COURSE!! We welcome you & your baby bump and family & friends. Our studio has a spacious, comfortable ultrasound room. Many families have 3 or 4 join them; however, there's seating for 6, but plenty of room for standing too... we do NOT have a limit! Seeing your little miracle on the big screen, as the magic unfolds is unforgettable. A special occasion as this is should be enjoyed with all the family!

No, insurance does not cover the cost of elective ultrasound imaging, as these are not medically necessary. Expectant parents voluntarily participate in these for entertainment/viewing purposes only.

NO. The only gender method we do is ULTRASOUND, (must be 15+ weeks). You can request gender on any other elective session as well, it does not have to be the BUMP REVEAL. As per our POLICY, no guarantee is ever promised for gender.

At least 15 weeks. Although gender may be able to be visualized earlier, our policy is 15+ weeks, which can decrease the chance of any inconvenience for a repeat/return visit. 

NO! We do not offer 8k. As this is an AI generated image, not the true sonographic image. Only ultrasound acquired images will be the "prints" (keepsake photos) that you receive from your session. (Refer to the images pictured in the GALLERY or images on our scheduling app)
